Poland leads the way in AI education with AI for Youth program

The Polish Ministry of Education and Science has been collaborating with Intel since 2020 to implement the AI for Youth program across the country. This partnership led to a successful application to the European Social Fund, which will enable nationwide scaling of AI education. The Intel® AI for Youth program has been rolled out to 11,000 primary and secondary school teachers, with a strategic plan to equip secondary schools with advanced computer laboratories. These labs facilitate high-performance computing tasks essential for AI learning.

Testimonials

Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT

Government of India

"As India focuses on creating a framework for ethical and responsible AI, it is imperative for government leaders, workforce across sectors, and youth to have necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to leverage emerging technologies to foster innovation and build solutions for societal challenges. Programs like Responsible AI for Youth and Youth for Unnati and Vikas with AI (YUVAi) launched in collaboration with Intel will help build a pool amongst youth and students and empower them to create a positive impact on businesses and society on a global scale."

Asst. Prof. (Dr.) Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President and CEO - Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), Ministry of Digital Economy and Society

Government of Thailand

"I would like to thank Intel for their AI for Youth program in Thailand. This is an excellent start in encouraging our youth and all Thai citizens to realize the importance of developing AI skills for their future. DEPA has set an ambitious goal of developing 500,000 digital manpower by 2027. The target cannot be accomplished just by the government; it must be achieved through the collaboration of all sectors."

Prof. Dr. Evis Kushi, Minister of Education and Sport

Government of Albania

"Albania is privileged to become part of the AI for Youth project, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Albanian-American Foundation for Development (AADF) and Intel® AI for Youth. The Albanian government carefully follows the changes that technological development and artificial intelligence are bringing to humanity, the employment sector, and the economy itself. Therefore, we aim to include this program in all secondary schools to improve technological and artificial intelligence skills among Albanian students, aged between 13 and 19 years. I express my gratitude to the AADF and Intel for the close cooperation and the important contribution made in Albania’s education field."
