Desktop boards with a 2x2 12V power connector
- Supports the following power supply specifications: ATX12V version 2.0, SFX12V version 3.0, and TFX12V version 2.0.
- Failure to use an appropriate power supply and/or not connecting the 12V power connector to the Desktop Board may result in damage to the board or the system may not function properly.
- The 2 x 12 pin main power connector is backwards compatible with ATX12V power supplies with 2 x 10 connectors.
- If your power supply has a 2 x 10 main power connector, it is recommended that you do not install a PCI Express* x16 graphics card unless it has a direct connection to the power supply.
- Serial ATA (SATA) connectors are required to support SATA hard drives.
Desktop boards with a 2x4 12V power connector
- Supports the following power supply specifications: ATX12V version 2.0, SFX12V version 3.0, and TFX12V version 2.0.
- Failure to use an appropriate power supply and/or not connecting the 12V power connector to the Desktop Board may result in damage to the board or the system may not function properly.
- The 2 x 12 pin main power connector is backwards compatible with ATX12V power supplies with 2 x 10 connectors.
- Serial ATA (SATA) connectors are required to support SATA hard drives.
Desktop boards with a 19 VDC power connector
These boards can use the following power supplies:
- External Power Supply – the board can be powered with a 19 VDC external power supply though the 19 VDC connector (A in the image below) on the back panel. The back panel connector accepts plugs with an inner diameter (ID) of 5.1 mm and an outer diameter (OD) of 7.4 mm, where the inner contact is 19 (±5%) VDC and the shell is GND.
- Internal Power Supply – the board can alternatively be powered via the onboard 19 VDC 1 x 2 power connector (B in the image below).
Use of an external 19 VDC power supply is preferred.
